Farm Update 30.04.20

As the situation with COVID-19 continues, we wanted to give you a little update on our situation.

The farm currently remains closed and currently we can’t provide an update on how long we will remain closed, as always we will continue to follow government advice. Since closing we have been doing everything we can to ensure our lovely animals are well looked after, our amazing animal care staff having been doing a fantastic job, a big thank you goes out to to each and everyone of them.

Unfortunately as time goes on and the weeks turn in to months, the possibility of their not being a farm to reopen, becomes a distinct possibility. We will be doing everything we can to try and not let this happen but if you can and would like to help us in this difficult situation, then your help would be greatly appreciated. You can find out about the ways you can help us on our home page.

Please continue to look after yourselves and your loved ones.

Below we have added a few FAQ’s that will hopefully answer some of the questions you might have.

Thank you for your continued support, we couldn’t do it without you

1. Are the pet and reptile shops open?
Yes they are, on a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday we are open 11am until 3pm, so you can stock up on all your Pet supplies. We can deliver to you if you are isolating and unable to come to us. If you would rather visit us at a quieter time appointments can be made. We are happy to discuss anything Pet related any day if you give us a call on 01623 882977.

2. I have a group booking, birthday party or experience package (including Goat yoga) booked with you and you are closed, what will happen to my booking?
We are monitoring the government advice closely and will remain closed until advised otherwise. We will contact upcoming bookings to transfer your date to later in the year where appropriate, no paid deposits will be lost. If you have not heard from us please email us at hello@whitepostfarm.co.uk.

3. I have an annual pass, gift voucher or day admission booked will I lose the time I have left because you are closed?
We will be extending the expiry date on all of the above to ensure that you don’t miss out. We will add on the time we are closed to the expiry date of your pass.

4. I have paid for next terms Little Farmers Club or Home Education club what will happen to my money?
Don’t worry and money paid will be transferred onto an open ticket / gift voucher to allow you to visit or book onto sessions when we reopen.

5. How can I support you and the animals while you are closed?
Thank you. There are 5 official ways you can help us whilst we remain closed. You can find all the details on the homepage of our website.

6. I had work experience booked with you will it still go ahead?
Unfortunately while the farm is closed and we are following the governments advice to stay at home whenever possible we will not be taking on any work experience students.
