HOME EDUCATION CLUB

The Home Education Club is run by two members of our education team, each with experience with both key stage groups. The Home Ed club is suitable for children in both KS1 and KS2, although if your child is older/younger and you think they would still benefit from it we would be happy to accommodate them.

The sessions run on alternate Thursdays from 1pm – 3pm.

The education team have developed the sessions to link in with the learning aims and objectives set out in the national curriculum, while keeping animals at the forefront of each session. Each term we will put the topics on our website so you can see what they will be getting up to, and which sessions you would like to attend. This term will be linked to the sciences, art & design, and geography. We ensure every session involves plenty of animal interaction and as much hands-on learning as possible!

Each session the children will complete bespoke tasks, work sheets and activities based on their topic, and their learning will be recorded weekly. You do not have to attend every session, so if you want to pop along for a few sessions a term please do!
