We are so pleased to be back with our Home Ed sessions, with the use of a new classroom facility to aid with social distancing, and exciting hands-on topics, it is going to be great to get learning again.
The Home Education Club is run by two members of our education team, each with experience with both key stage groups. We have made the decision to merge KS1 and KS2 into one group every Wednesday from 1pm – 3pm. All classroom work will be adapted to suit each key stage, with a member of staff assigned to a key stage each week to assist with breakaway groups.
The education team have developed the sessions to link in with the learning aims and objectives set out in the national curriculum. Each term we will put the topics on our website so you can see what they will be getting up to, and which sessions you would like to attend. This term will be linked to the sciences, art & design, and geography.
Each session the children will complete bespoke tasks, work sheets and activities based on their topic, and their learning will be recorded weekly. You do not have to attend every session, so if you want to pop along for a few sessions a term please do!
